About Us

We are importers, first.

My brother Kaden and I import fine wine to the retail and hospitality industry – wine with integrity that authentically reflects location, vintage, and vigneron. We have an ambitious focus on the next generation’s emerging leaders – often young people - who are evolving the narrative of the regions and varieties they represent. Based in MA, we self-import, self-wholesale, self-warehouse, and self-deliver to ensure every story is preserved from grower to glass.

We approach everything with a long-term mentality.

We take risks and have introduced a number of growers with success to the USA. We don’t chase fads and market trends, seeking wines that will stand the test of time from people with clear and unwavering vision. Our vision at Vine Farmer is to be a nationally recognized brand, conveying a clear understanding of the meaning of each bottle.

Seeking out stories through sourcing is our craft.

As a brother duo, we at Vine Farmer are importers as much as we are story chasers. We build our portfolio by finding the right people and the right wines – never selecting a wine to fill a gap or a role. We focus on renowned regions and off-the-beaten-path ones. Our sourcing is through word of mouth from well-respected growers we work with – close friends who have become part of our business.

Just out of undergrad in 2008, I was a wine geek, spending all of my money on wine, visiting wine heroes in the old world, and learning the ins and outs of sourcing while scouring markets for rare bottles. There was classroom time and a few certifications, although I was always more interested in the depth of knowledge and perspective gained elsewhere. When I decided to make wine a full-time endeavor in 2018, I wanted a path where I could fully follow my vision and ideals - to make something the long way, with a deep foundation. That vision is for Vine Farmer to be a nationally recognized business and thought leader, conveying a clear understanding of the meaning of each bottle, whether in an import, distribution, or retail capacity.
