SHIPPING INFO

You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine. By placing your order you have represented to Vintage Fine Wines that you are at least 21. All wines delivered must be received by an adult of legal drinking age.

Our trucks make free deliveries in Wilton, CT for orders over $100. For smaller orders there is a $10 charge. We also offer delivery to the rest of Fairfield County for orders over $100 at a $25 charge.

We offer 3 shipping options:

  1. Ground Service - approximately 2-5 business days in transit
  2. 2nd Day Air - 2 business days in transit
  3. Next Day Air - 1 business day in transit

An email will immediately acknowledge receipt of your order, while a second email will confirm your order has been processed and is prepared for shipment. We will contact you by the end of the next business day if there is any problem with your order. While we make every effort to show accurate product listings on our website, Vintage Fine Wines is not responsible for typographical, pricing errors, and omissions. Thank you for your understanding.

Please note that your shipping costs are estimated. Actual costs will be confirmed with you when your order is placed.

Many states restrict the shipment of wine. Please accept our apologies if we are unable to ship to your area. We cannot ship to the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia. When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will not be charged until your order is complete and ready to be shipped.

Can I cancel an order or return it?

Any order may be canceled prior to shipping. If an order has already shipped, then you must proceed with our return process to send it back and receive your refund.

Expedited Shipping

We offer several expedited shipping options including overnight. Please realize that it takes between 6 and 24 hours to process an order depending on when we receive the order. Overnight deliveries are not guaranteed to arrive to you within 24 hours.

Will you hold an order due to weather?

We will hold your order as long as you want at no extra charge. We reserve the right to hold orders if we feel the weather in our local area will damage the order. We will let you know via email that we are doing so. We will not hold an order based on where it is being shipped. Please let us know when you place your order if you would like us to hold it due to the weather (or any other reasons). You can type your hold request in the "special instructions" portion of our order page.

How will I know when my order has shipped?

Once an order is shipped, we will send an email confirmation of this to the email provided in your order. This email will contain the tracking information.

How long does it take for an order to arrive?

Depending on where you live, it will take between one and seven business days to receive your order. In cases of a backorder, delivery time may be delayed and we will inform you of this ASAP.

What does vintage substitution mean?

Every effort is made to display accurate vintages on our wines, however sometimes we may be out of the vintage listed and have the opportunity to recommend another vintage of the same wine. You have the opportunity to accept this recommendation or not by Allowing Vintage Substitutions.

How do I return all or part of an order?

Returns are quite simple and are accepted within 10 business days of when you receive your order. Your satisfaction is our primary goal. If for some reason you have received the wrong product (i.e. wrong vintage or product that does not match the product description when ordered) we will gladly issue a full refund within 3 days of receiving the product(s) back from you. If an order is canceled after packaging you will be refunded the total order amount less 10% for re-stocking. If an order is returned to us because it could not be delivered to the address provided to us from you, you will be charged a second delivery fee if you still want the order. If an order is returned to us because it could not be delivered to the address provided to us from you and you cancel your order you will be refunded the total order amount less the shipping fee and less 10% of the order total for re-stocking.

Shipping charges are the responsibility of the shipper. Please ship your order back in the original container you received it in. Ship it with the carrier of your choice such as UPS or FEDEX. Since the item is your responsibility until it arrives to our warehouse, you may decide to add insurance to your shipment through the carrier. This is usually a minimal charge and protects you against possible loss or damage during transit.

We reserve the right to refuse any return if the item arrives damaged or the item arrives beyond the ten day return period.
